Mamashop

OUR STORY

We started by watching how shops actually work.

In a small provision shop, one person is often doing everything at once. Serving a customer, watching the stock, keeping an eye on who still owes money, and trying not to lose track of the day’s sales.

Most point-of-sale software wasn’t built with that person in mind. It was built for a cashier at a fixed counter, scanning barcodes, with time to fill in forms. That’s not how most provision shops in Ghana work, so we built something that matches how they actually sell instead of asking them to change.

OUR MISSION

Give small shop owners a tool that fits how they already sell, so running the business takes less time, not more.

What we build around

Simple

No accounting jargon, no manuals. If you can use a calculator, you can use this.

Fast

Selling should take seconds, not minutes. Every screen is built around speed.

Works offline

Shops don't stop because the internet does, so neither does the app.

Built for real shops

Every screen was shaped by watching real sellers serve real customers.

Where we’re going

Ghana is our first market. The same problem, one person running a small shop with limited time and an unreliable connection, shows up across many African countries. That is where we are headed next.

See it for yourself.

The best way to understand Mamashop is to open it in your own shop.
